"The fusion of practicality, comfort, pleasure and ecological soundness is a hallmark of Sue Reed's design work. Her extraordinary abilities to thoroughly diagnose situations, develop appropriate solutions to shortcomings, and clearly explain process and detail have been repeatedly demonstrated during her years of private practice and teaching at the Conway School of Landscape Design."

Landscape Architecture

Designing home landscapes to be: • Ecologically rich • Comfortably livable • Energy efficient • Inviting to wildlife • Naturally beautiful.

Designed Landscapes

I hope these photos of my work will give you a good idea about my parcticular style and approach to creating comfortable home landscapes. Here you can see that I favor using Goshen Stone native to my region and/or other locally-harvested stone, and that my style tends to be relaxed and informal, but that even formal designs can be made inviting and livable. You can also see an assortment of native plants "in action" here in my designs.
